Frequently asked questions.

How old does my child have to be to start swimming lessons?

We start swimming lessons at age 4 months old. These are infant survival classes that are meant to provide infants with reflexive skills that help them to navigate the water.

What should I bring to the lesson?

2 swim diapers are needed for any child not potty trained.

Swimsuit, towel, sunscreen, and goggles for anyone over 2.

Do I need to get in the pool with my child during the lesson?

We prefer to give 1 on 1 lessons. Parents are not allowed in the pool, but you are allowed to watch the lesson poolside.

How many lessons will it take for my child to learn to swim?

We are first drowning prevention focused, making your child water safe. However, each child learns to swim at their own rate due to different sensitivities and or fears. Many students learn to swim one lesson, and many take up to two summers.

The pool is outdoor, but the pool is heated to between from 85-90 degrees everyday.

Are you open all year round.

Yes, but we do close if the temperature is too low or if it rains.
